lskjghww I abstain from picking a favorite—they’re all one big long movie aiite. but wow i don’t think i’ll ever not cry at Boromir’s death, and it’s undoubtedly the best choreographed one of the trilogy ughh my baby :(
“it’s all one movie” is definitely the best way of looking at them (it means i can totally justify continuing on to two towers tonight because I AM NOT IN FACT STARTING A DIFFERENT MOVIE!)
but yeah gosh the more i watch fellowship the more attached to boromir i become HE’S SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER/PERSON

ugh i just watched the extended edition of fellowship (which i don’t think i’ve seen all the way through before?) and there is MORE BOROMIR which is lovely and wonderful but just makes the end harder to deal with
i always think fellowship is my least favorite in the trilogy but then i watch the end of it and cry ridiculously and decide briefly that it’s my favorite because OBVIOUSLY MY FAVORITE IS WHICHEVER ONE MAKES ME THE MOST UPSET
